Who makes it
FRCTL is built and run independently by Aven, who is also its heaviest user. Most of what ships comes out of making real visuals with it: cover art, logos, set visuals and clips for social.
FRCTL is operated by FRCTL SYSTEMS, an assumed business name of MINDLAB AI LLC.
Who it is for
DJs making their own cover art, logos, set visuals and social content, and visual artists making the same work for clients or for themselves. It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install to try it, and the free plan is the whole studio at 1080p with no watermark.
The effect library shows every effect in the app with a live preview, and the marketplace is where artists on FRCTL sell presets and loop packs.
How it is run
Payments go through Stripe's hosted checkout, so card details never reach FRCTL. There are no advertising or analytics companies on the site and no tracking pixels. The privacy policy lists exactly what is stored and what is counted.
